The purpose of this website in regards to the forestry lots near Dionisio Point Provincial Park, is to engage with the Galiano community about our rezoning propoposals, collect historical facts that effect them, explain the position of the landowners, and to help everyone move forward where we all benefit.

Galiano being Galiano, there have been lots of rumours and misinformation about access to Dionisio Point Provincial Park and the forestry lots that own the private paved road to the park.

The owners on these properties do not claim to be perfect and like all people we have our biases. However, where you believe we are mistaken, we would appreciate correction with documentation to set the record straight. In a nutshell, the biggest problems I have with the current Trust, are lack of clarity in the rules, lack of logic in what the Trustees claim their goals are, the systematic intentional devaluing of the forestry lots and the lack of concern for the expenses of the people of Galiano.
